Description
The Agilent 5973N MSD - 6890 Plus GC system is a composted installation. Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is an analytical method that combines the features of gas-chromatography and mass spectrometry. With the 6890Plus GC and the 5973 MS you can identify different substances within a test sample. By using the 7683 ALS the GC/MS can work continues. All collected data is transferred by LAN Interface to the computer with Chemstation software. Optional NIST library makes this unique system priceless. System is refurbished by Labrecycling and in great condition.
Agilent GC/MS - 5973N MS with 6890Plus GC - 7683 ALS
The GCMS confirguration consists of the following modules:
Agilent 5973N MS contains:
- EI Source
- Heated transfer line
- Turbo Pump
Agilent 6890Plus GC contains:
- Split/Splitless Inlet
- No build in detector
Agilent 7683 Autosampler contains
- 100 Sample Tray
- Injector
- All necessary connecters and cable
The 5973 Mass Spec Detector is designed for use with the Agilent 6890 Series Gas Chromatograph. The 5973 series GC-MSDs are reliable, rugged, and last. They are suited to both qualitative and quantitative analysis by either electron ionization (EI) or chemical ionization (CI). Performance is affected by the size of vacuum pump fitted - some early models were shipped with a diffusion version, while later versions were fitted with 2 sizes of turbo pump (Edwards or Pfeiffer).
The Agilent 5973 MSD is a stand-alone capillary GC detector. Tuning programs adjust voltages in the ion source, calibrate mass assignments, and control the scanning of the analyzer. The 5973 MSDs are compact and require no cooling water or compressed air. Each instrument includes a short GC interface (< 20 cm), an independently heated electron impact ion source, a metalized gold quadrupole mass filter, a long-life off-axis HED (high-energy dynode) detector with a replaceable snap-in horn and an electronics module.
6890 Plus
The 6890 Plus keyboard simplifies parameter entry and system control. The keyboard displays four parameters of your choice, giving you instant access to system information--for fast, effective diagnostics and troubleshooting. All parameters can be stored and recalled at the touch of a button. Full electronic pneumatics control (EPC) makes it fast and easy to set all pressures and flows. The world's best EPC keeps these setpoints constant from run to run, providing excellent retention time reproducibility.
- Max Operating Temperature: 450℃
- Fast method setup
- Large-volume injection
- Built-in regulatory compliance; and reliability that lasts a lifetime
