The SpectrAA 220 series offers you enhanced capabilities, including full PC control and automated operation as standard. Based on the reliable SpectrAA 50/55 hardware, the SpectrAA 220 series is available with a range of options, including automatic lamp selection and programmable gas control, providing fully automated operation.

The SpectrAA 220 optics featurefour lamp positions with automated wavelength and slit selection, and high intensity deuterium background correction as standard. Lamps are mounted in fixed positions, and a rotating mirror is usedto select the operating lamp, eliminating the need for a conventional turret.

For maximum stability in an automated sequence, a software controlled next-lamp warm up facility is provided.
